This mega-confection was made of delicious chocolate cake topped with pink icing with sprinkle toppings, each measuring five inches in length.

In all seriousness - Breast Cancer is a disease that we need to eradicate and we can only do that through awareness, research and funding. We thought that with a Guinness World Attempt we could bring a new awareness to Think Pink Rocks, a breast cancer awareness charity. I needed to attempt this (without knowing that 97% of attempts fail) for my friends and my young daughters so that this will not be a topic of conversation when they get older," said Laurie Braden, president of Global TV Concepts and creator of Big Top Cupcake(TM) brand.
The world's largest cupcake was showcased at the 2009 Think Pink Rocks charity concert on Saturday, October 3 Boca Raton, Florida which featured artists such as AKON, Shontelle and DJ Webstar to raise awareness for breast cancer. Attendees were also able to consume a piece of history of the world-record-holding colossal treat served in honor of donations to breast cancer charities.
